Athletics

The Good Shepherd Catholic School Athletic Program exists as a vital and integral part of the school's educational program. The Athletic Program offers students the opportunity to learn, enhance and improve their abilities in a variety of sports while maintaining a code of good sportsmanship and Catholic Values. Participation in athletics, either as a player or a fan, is an important part of the experience at Good Shepherd. We invite you to come out and support GSS athletics.

Good Shepherd students in grades 5th thru 8th have an opportunity to participate in the following sports:

VOLLEYBALL

Volleyball is a fall sport. Boys and girls in grades 5th thru 8th can participate in volleyball. Good Shepherd usually has boys only, girls only and co-ed volleyball teams. The volleyball season is 7 weeks long; each team plays 2 games each week for a total of 14 games.

BASKETBALL

Basketball is a winter sport. Boys and girls in grades 5th thru 8th can participate in basketball. The basketball teams are boys only and girls only, no coed.
